Audia Ellis DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

Audia Ellis is a registered nurse, board-certified family nurse practitioner, and legal nurse consultant.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capital University and began her practice as a registered nurse in the inpatient setting. Her clinical experience inspired her to pursue advanced practice nursing, and she went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing from Otterbein University as a family nurse practitioner.

Audia’s clinical experience began as a Medical-Surgical registered nurse and later expanded to Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, and Telemedicine as a nurse practitioner. Early in her practice as a nurse practitioner, she developed a strong interest in research and in understanding how research findings were translated into clinical practice to enhance patient care and outcomes. This interest grew into a passion and ultimately inspired her to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, which she completed at Otterbein University.

Ms. Ellis obtained her legal nurse consulting education from Duke University. She founded LLNC with the goal of helping attorneys understand complex medical issues, evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of their cases, and navigate the medical aspects of the litigation process.

Throughout her professional clinical experience, Ms. Ellis has had the privilege of caring for diverse patient populations, providing her with firsthand knowledge and experience across a broad range of medical conditions and treatments. This clinical perspective, combined with her advanced nursing education, allows her to bring a practical understanding of patient care and nursing practice to the review, analysis, and interpretation of complex medical information, and to serve as a trusted resource to attorneys navigating medical and nursing-related legal matters.

Ms. Ellis currently resides in North Carolina, where she enjoys actively practicing as a nurse practitioner and legal nurse consultant. She enjoys traveling, hiking, networking, spending time with family and friends, and is an ultimate foodie.
