Meet the Founder
Audia Ellis is a registered nurse, board-certified family nurse practitioner, and legal nurse consultant.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capital University and began her practice as a registered nurse in the inpatient setting. Her clinical experience inspired her to pursue advanced practice nursing, and she went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing from Otterbein University as a family nurse practitioner.
Her combined clinical experience and advanced nursing education provide a strong foundation for her work as a legal nurse consultant, allowing her to apply her clinical knowledge and expertise to the review, analysis, and interpretation of complex medical information.
Audia’s clinical experience began as a Medical-Surgical registered nurse and later expanded to Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, and Telemedicine as a nurse practitioner. Early in her practice as a nurse practitioner, she discovered a genuine interest in engaging with evidence-based research and learning how research findings could be translated into clinical practice to improve patient care. This interest grew into a passion for evidence-based practice and ultimately inspired her to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, which she completed at Otterbein University.

Ms. Ellis has strong clinical knowledge regarding the signs, symptoms, and treatment of common personal injuries, including those resulting from slip and fall incidents, head injuries, and motor vehicle accidents.
Her clinical experience enables her to analyze and synthesize medical records to identify relevant information regarding an injured party’s pre-existing conditions and injuries, course of treatment, injury severity, and prognosis. She applies this clinical knowledge and perspective to help attorneys understand the medical aspects of a case, and identify information that may be relevant to its evaluation.
Medical Malpractice
Legal Nurse Consultants play an important role in medical malpractice cases by helping attorneys understand and evaluate the medical issues relevant to their cases.
Drawing on her advanced nursing education, training, and clinical skills and experience, Ms. Ellis serves as an educator, researcher, and analyst, providing clinical insight to help attorneys navigate complex medical information.
Ms. Ellis is available to support both defense and plaintiff attorneys in understanding the medical issues relevant to their cases. Her role is to provide clear, objective, unbiased, and clinically informed analyses that can assist attorneys in evaluating medical records, identifying pertinent medical information, and developing a better understanding of the healthcare-related aspects of a case.
